About us
F-E Contracting Inc. was founded in 1997, and has since grown to become a thriving general contracting firm, always committed to excellence. In the last five years, F-E Contracting Inc. has successfully executed over $50 million in construction and management projects for private owners, non-profit organizations, and State and Federal agencies throughout Alaska. We deliver a wide range of construction and related services and consistently complete our projects efficiently, professionally, on time, and within budget. Designations: HUBZone, Minority-owned, Small Business.
Safety
F-E Contracting, Inc. is committed to project safety. Our company safety program meets or exceeds all OSHA standards. F-E develops a project-specific safety plan for every contract, established prior to the start of work and made available for review by all key personnel prior to being implemented. In addition, all F-E project superintendents have successfully completed the 30-hour OSHA "Construction and Safety" course. Beyond this OSHA training, all F-E key personnel are certified in First Aid and CPR. These certifications are renewed biannually and include our Project Managers, Quality Control Managers and Site Foremen. Superintendents are a so trained in Confined Space entry and monitoring.
F-E requires that everyone on the project attend weekly safety meetings and we document the discussion and attendance. All construction equipment to be used on projects - including that of subcontractors - is thoroughly inspected before placed into use. That inspection will adhere to a written Equipment Inspection Checklist prepared by F-E and documented accordingly.
